He had never been furious about anything more lifeless. The ever-changing shadow of his quick kicks looked like a living nut in a state of terrible neuralgia. His ruthless voice pierced the quiet. He sometimes lowered his fi sts sometimes threw them up in the air. He exchanged his feet with a thumping beat of one curse one kick. But he never slowed his kicks.
